Training: The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) sought training on the use of Bright Futures with respect to the developmental tools available for families and providers to address social and emotional health in children ages 0 through 5. More specifically, the training addressed the uniqueness of each child’s emotional and social challenges during early childhood. Additional topic areas included how to control their emotions and tantrums, how to share, and how to play with others. Bright Futures tools were used to help providers and families begin a conversation about how to best support healthy social and emotional development in infants, children, and teens.
